It is a continuous arms race, where the spammers are one step ahead.
I definitive solution must be found. I am already testing the EmailXT proposal. It promises a smooth transition between the old email system and its own system.
Although the official EmailXT client is in a very early stage with a lot of missing features, the ones it now has hold a promising future IMHO.
